Jawoyn Aviation
Jawoyn Aviation was launched in late 2010 to deliver helicopter services for Jawoyn land management, cultural heritage and tourism in the Top End.

A large area of Jawoyn country, particularly the Arnhem Land plateau, is inaccessible except by foot or by air.
Caring for Jawoyn country and sites of cultural importance requires countless hours of helicopter time - bringing great expense and cost to the Association. Through running our own helicopter service, we significantly reduce the costs required to carry out our work.
Additionally, Jawoyn Aviation will begin providing helicopter tours of the Nitmiluk Gorge and national park from March 2011.
This is an important step forward in Jawoyn's involvement in tourism in the area, building on its already strong provision of tourist experiences at the park through Nitmiluk Tours.
Jawoyn Aviation has been set up under a joint venture with Heliwest, Australia's leading provider of helicopter services.
