Human Services

The Jawoyn Association has a strong focus on human services to support its members.

The association provides emergency relief as well as financial and other support for ceremonial and sporting activities.

It was instrumental in setting up the Sunrise Health Service to provide medical assistance to Jawoyn people.

We run an Aged Care program for the elderly and support the role of women in leadership through assisting them to develop a family resource and healing centre.

We also develop and promote employment and training opportunities for younger Jawoyn members.
