Leliyn

Leliyn, also known as Edith Falls, is a popular place for swimming, picnicing and walking.

The large plunge pool, which the falls flow into, is one of the Parks most popular swimming holes.

Along with swimming, visitors have a choice of walks that provide an opportunity to explore the falls and surrounding escarpment country.

It is located on the western boundary of Nitmiluk National Park, 40 kilometres north of Katherine on the Stuart Highway and then 20 kilometres off the highway on a bitumen road.

Facilities include a commercial camping area with toilets and showers, wood barbeques and tables.

Nitmiluk Tours, which is owned by the Jawoyn Association, runs all the operations at the Falls.
